My v-pick Story!

So, here's what happened when I started using V-Picks.

I follow several exceedingly good guitar instructors. You never stop learning! And I noticed some of them were using V-Picks. And a couple suggested using them. So I decided to check them out.

I started with the Screamer. Man, it's THICK! But LIGHT! High quality. 3 sided. Acrylic. It'll last forever! (In retrospect - I still use the same picks now for years!) I currently have around 20 to 25 V-Picks. At least 2 of each of a dozen different styles. And they're GREAT! I use different picks for different songs, guitars, etc..

It took me 2 weeks to get used to using it. Just like it says on the site. "Give it two weeks, you'll never switch back!"

Again, in retrospect . . . I have used NO OTHER picks since I started using V-picks! Several years! I still use the original Screamer I bought years ago! Why not? I play better. I play FASTER! I play cleaner, articulate better. And I NEVER drop a pick while performing! You just don't drop them!!

The tone it produces is massive! They're louder than any other pick I've ever used. And in about two weeks, I was hooked, and convinced! I noticed a substantial difference in my picking speed and articulation! PLUS . . . you just don't drop these while playing!

A couple weeks later I was playing a gig in Florida. This is well before Covid hit. Like two years before. My eldest son came to check out the gig. He's been playing since he was four. We did some gigs together in the past.

He's also a highly skilled player! And a shredder!

During the first break, he said . . .

"I have NEVER heard you play better! Man, your
articulation is amazing!"

I'd been playing for decades! And yes, my speed and articulation improved in just weeks by simply switching PICKS!

I use a lot of different models. But my main "go to" is the 1980.

Many of the pros (Carlos Santana, Billy Gibbons, Phil Keaggy, Johnny Hiland, Vernon Reid, Derek St Holmes, Brad Whitford, Orianthi & Ranger Doug Green - and the late Ed King, and Walter Becker) use v-picks by Vinni Smith.

If you play clean, and edgy tunes, I suggest you buy 2 1980's. One with, one without the GHOST EDGE! The ghost edge gives you a bit of a raspy, gritty tone.

Very cool for Rock and Blues!

If you prefer smaller picks, The Mummy is a GREAT pick! With and without the ghost edge. Why not drop $21 and get all 4! Different picks have different tone. I switch off, back and forth depending on the song. And they last a LONG time! Years!!!

v-picks.com I strongly suggest buying a 1980 pick! And a Mummy!

OK, let's get serious for a minute. Didn't you just tell yourself you were going to follow my tutorial because you REALLY want to improve your playing? Reminder: You DID! Well, I'm clearly saying one of the reasons you don't play as well as you want is because you're using the wrong pick!

I DO NOT profit when you buy a V-Pick! But YOU WILL!
